Randy and MacKenzie dropped by last night for dinner and to pick up some Randy CDs. He's going down to FL to play some shows this weekend. They are engaged and getting married on May 24.
MacKenzie has a red accordian that she brought along and they played 3-4 songs for us including a version of "Eleanor Rigby." Randy has some new band mates that he just started practicing with. They are playing a gig in Helen later this month.
Don't worry, I'm telling you about this not just to pass on some facts but a few thoughts as well. Being around them always makes me think. They are really so out of touch with all the goings-on in the "big city" (I don't just mean ATL) and could really care less. They are in a different world and its just cool to see. I could never live there but its nice to visit when they are around.
