Kudos to JB on the name and exacuo-like formating of the cigar room.
I don't know that I have any music suggestions for you. I just got a Townes Van Zandt double album. I guess he's considered one of the forefathers of americana and a real underground cult hero within that genre. As Sir Charles would say, it is a little too raw for his tastes.
I am surprised about both of your news regarding "Gods and Generals." When Charlie, Derek and I attended the place was packed. It was opening night (or close), however. Everyone that I discussed it with always mentioned the length of time and many indicated they would probably not see it for that reason. Again another sad commentary on movie goers. Maybe on "Last Full Measure" it could be cut down to 30 minutes and spiced up with some cool MTV "jiggle" camera shots and strange angles, etc. to keep the crowd into it.
I'll try to get your sharpening stone updated, JB.
Do we have any intention of passing on the URL for this or is it just for us?
